DOOM Eternal still has another DLC episode to release in its post-launch The Ancient Gods campaign, and we'll find out a little bit about it on 15th March 2021. Bethesda confirmed the teaser trailer drop after the expansion's achievement list leaked over the weekend, which indicated this presumably final drop of content is close to launching. The key art you see above accompanied the announcement, which features the popular DOOM Slayer facing off against all sorts of deadly monsters. We've now got a full week to wait before id Software shares more information.
This second piece of DLC will assumedly build upon the surprising reveal from the end of DOOM Eternal: The Ancient Gods - Part One. We thoroughly enjoyed that expansion of the already excellent base game, awarding it a cool 8/10 in the Push Square review and claiming it to be "much more of PS4's best FPS". We've got even more of that hell-slaying action to come, then.
There's a lot more to come from the DOOM series this month, however, as Doom 3: VR Edition releases for PlayStation VR on 29th March 2021. A surprising announcement from Sony's latest line-up of PSVR reveals, it'll be bundled with both expansions and enhancements designed for virtual reality. Don't forget we've also got a native PlayStation 5 upgrade for DOOM Eternal on the way, most likely launching at some point this year. A free PS4 upgrade will be offered to those who already own the game. How much DOOM will you consume in March? Slaughter the legions of hell in the comments below.
